The Jackson Parish Museum & Fine Arts Association is making preparations for an exhibit that will feature the importance of the forest industry and the paper mill to Jackson Parish and the surrounding area.

The exhibit will feature memorabilia such as photographs, documents, and other items.  The museum has a collection of many items but to expand the exhibit, the public is invited to include any relevant items in their possession.  This will be on a loan basis and not a permanent donation.  Oral histories can be submitted as well.

For more information please call 259-3119, or email Updates will be available through our website,, and our regular operating hours are Thursday-Saturday, 10am-4pm.

Our exhibitions change frequently! Here’s a photo taken at the Jonesboro-Hodge Highschool display from our Back to School exhibit. Special thanks to Judie Blalock for lending her items & assistance. It’s not too late to include your school! Give us a call if you want info on how to get involved in preserving your Jackson Parish school’s legacy with the JPMFAA.
